Consumer Reports published a report this week covering the basics of joint replacement surgery. “But while often highly successful, a joint replacement may not eliminate all pain or restore full range of motion in a hip or knee,” according to the article. Several AAHKS members were interviewed for the article, and they cover topics such as when to have surgery, choosing a surgeon, recalls, pain management and recovery.
